Ten of Wands
Upright
Reversed
Upright Meaning
A figure struggles to carry ten wands, hunched over under their weight, barely able to see the path ahead. The destination — a town — is visible but the burden makes every step an effort. This person is not being punished. They volunteered for all ten wands. They said yes when they should have said no. They took on more when they should have delegated. And now the weight of their own generosity, ambition, or inability to refuse is crushing them.
The Ten of Wands is the card of overcommitment. You have taken on too much — too many projects, too many responsibilities, too many other people's burdens on top of your own. The work is real and important, but the amount is unsustainable. Something has to be put down before you collapse.
This card doesn't say quit. It says prioritize. Not everything you're carrying needs to reach the destination. Some wands can be set down along the path. Some can be handed to someone else. The question isn't whether you can carry them all. It's whether carrying them all is worth not being able to see where you're going.
Reversed Meaning
Putting the burden down. Delegating. Saying no for the first time. The relief of releasing responsibilities that were never yours to carry. Or: the burden finally causing the collapse that the upright card warned about.

Advice
Put some wands down. Not all of them — some. You are not helping anyone by arriving at the destination broken. The Ten of Wands asks: which of these burdens are actually yours? Which did you pick up because no one else would? Which are you carrying out of guilt rather than necessity? Put those down. The path becomes visible the moment the load becomes manageable.
